The facilities at Friary Meadow make for a relaxed, friendly community environment. Whilst residents enjoy the own privacy and space, it is easy to socialise at Friary Meadow.

Private residents’ restaurant, serving a three-course hot lunch, and a handy coffee shop offering a change of scene and a chance to catch up with friends, family and neighbours.

Think of our cosy cinema room, on the lower ground floor, as your private screening room. Sit back and relax, enjoying one of our regular screenings. Visiting family or guests are welcome to join you.

”My husband and I are very happy we made the decision to move to Friary Meadow. We have a lovely light and spacious contemporary apartment. The communal restaurant, coffee bar and cinema mean we can have company or join activities when we welcome it, and privacy if we don’t. When weather permits there is plenty of space on the outdoor terraces for drinks outdoors or a potter around the safe and accessible landscaped ‘village’ which is regularly maintained.

The most important factor for us is the provision of lovely on-site carers who can provide the continuity and expertise a care agency cannot. There is always someone on hand 24/7 too, if there is a fall or some other emergency.

Another important consideration was good road access for any visiting distant family and friends. Adjacent is new country park which will be a chance to be out in the open and a great attraction for visiting families.

The variation of local shopping is pleasing too with the choice of retail outlet, shopping centre or local village.

In short, we love it!”
